APPEARANCE

Anabella is slender in build and quite tall for her age, most of her height seen in her legs. She stands 5'3 and weighs 85lbs.

She doesn't pay much attention to popular fashion, but does have a knack for wearing it. Anabella has a hat addiction, finding that she has a hat of every kind for every occasion. (except a fez, she will NEVER wear a fez.). She likes to be comfortable, and most of her clothes allow for the freedom to move about as she likes to dance.

PERSONALITY

Anabella is a sweet girl that once she gets to know people can get along with them, but she does have abandonment issues. Anabella does not do well with being alone though she has spent a majority of her life alone. From age 6 to age 12 she never left her house so her social skills leave something to be desired and when she gets overwhelmed, she tends to lash out.

Anabella is highly emotional and tends to overreact, so when she feels she is in danger or overwhelmed, she has a tendency to lose control of her ability. Ana knows she needs to learn to control this side of her, and has even tried, but without the ability for practical education hasn't been able to master it. She also has a habit of doubting herself, but when others doubt her she gets defensive and will try to prove the person wrong, and on occasion will accomplish that, but often does not.

Anabella loves to learn. Hand her a book and she will sit and read for hours without even realizing it. She is very smart, almost too smart for her own good, and sometimes it gets her into trouble. She has a tendency to ask too many questions and doesn't understand why people don't always want to answer them, but she also doesn't like too much information when it comes to the people she considers to be her parents.

Anabella has always wanted to branch out, to learn more than what she could from books, her main interests being music, dancing, and horseback riding. She has studied as much as she could on each of her interests and more than anything hopes to one day own her own horse, if not stable, though she has always been told that she is a danger to anyone and anything.

Anabella was taken in by the Butlers just days after her birth, no one knew where she came from, but when she was left on the Butler's doorstep they couldn't resist taking her in.

Mark Butler, a short statured man who loved his tweed suits and bow-ties, was a professor at Yale University with great connections married to a wonderful woman named Hannah who was a brilliant photographer. They both were very family oriented, close to their respective families, spending holidays and birthdays and other special events with them.

Mark and Hannah always wanted children of their own, wanting the true dream as it were; unfortunately they couldn't have kids, no matter how hard they tried. It seemed like a miracle, a gift from some deity that owed them something, when the innocent infant was placed on their doorstep.

With his immense connections Mark was able to secure custody of the infant and suddenly they had everything they wanted, or so it seemed. Anabella was always a smart child, exceedingly brilliant for a normal human child, and slightly odd. Things would always happen around her, but they couldn't ever prove it, until one fateful day where a teacher in Anabella's school lost her life.

Nothing could ever be proven, no one was able to link it to Ana, but she and her parents knew that it had been her fault. No one could explain how the classroom had gotten so cold, terror flowing through all the kids as they ran, Ana frozen in fear before collapsing from overexertion, but the Butlers were not going to risk it happening again and Ana being blamed so they instantly pulled her from school and began homeschooling her.

Anabella didn't mind this, she was perfectly content never leaving the house again and that's how the Butlers planned it. Everything she needed would be there, school, a backyard for exercise, entertainment and even protection should anyone try to get to her and hurt her. It was not the best of plans of course but the Butlers had to do what they had to do to keep her safe.

Things seemed to calm down and Anabella started to have as normal of a life as she could have cooped up in her home all the time, but then someone found out what she was, what she could do, what she had done and they vowed to make her pay. One day, weeks after her 12th birthday a group of those following on the orders of one Matthew Wallace, the brother of the teacher that died because of Anabella's lack of control, showed up at the Butler house demanding that her parents turn Ana over to them to have her pay for what she did to Andrea Wallace so many years before. They didn't care that there was no way to prove she was the cause of it, or how ludicrous it sounded that she could have even done that, but that didn't seem to matter to them.

When Mark and Hannah refused to tell them where Anabella was, safely hidden away in a hidden room in the house, Matthew attacked, fueled by rage and grief that had consumed him for so many years and he killed them both. The group was so horrified they ran, leaving him alone with the bodies of Mark and Hannah and the reality of what he had just done.

To cover his tracks Mark decided that it would be best to destroy any evidence of what had happened he set the house on fire unbeknownst to him Anabella, the child he had come there to punish for his sister's death, had seen everything as she hid in the secret room her parents had installed and now she was trapped by the fire he had set. Having watched her parents brutal death she felt as if she had nothing left, no reason to fight, to her it wasn't as if she could live with just anyone, she was willing to allow herself to die right there, but that would never happen.

As the fire ravaged the house Anabella's survival instincts kicked in and she used her ability to keep the room around her cold, the only true threat being the heat as the air supply was separate from the house. Once the fire was out, and Ana had regained consciousness, having used all her strength to hold back the heat, she pulled herself from the rubble and hid watching as emergency officials combed the remains for survivors.

Having always been told that she was a danger to others Anabella couldn't allow herself to be found, not that she knew what she was going to do. The young girl, once the police and others finally cleared away from the rubble of her home, combed through and found anything she could salvage and then left the house behind.

MISC INFO

~When stressed she lashes out and tends to close herself off out of fear.
~She is cryokinetic and when she is alone will idly freeze small things like blades of grass to pass time.
~She loves horses and would love to own one.
~Ana would love one day to also have a kitten and a puppy, she truly loves all animals.
~She can cook just about any kind of food and loves to expierement, though sometimes it ends badly.
~Anabella can't feel cold or hot so she sometimes doesn't know when she's overdoing it on either end.
